Viewing Sky Channels on Apple Box TV

My friend takes great pleasure in laughing at how much I pay each month for my Sky contract, (as do Sky I'm sure). I have Disney channels, sports and movies in HD. He says he has got an Apple box and he can watch all Sky without paying anything. Wot?? How has he got this? Is his box chipped in some way? Is this possible? Obviously can't be legal.

no viewing pay tv without a contract is illegal, and when they implement the new card and receiver pairing together he wont be watching much either where you will

They're bringing out a new card? Haha good, but I'm sure he doesn't use his sky card. Maybe its through the PC or something.

i am not 100% on this but the apple box is card sharing it may not be his card but somewhere there will be a card and once the card and box are paired it will be very difficult to share
by the way m8 they dont like you naming the tv broadcasters name

That's just the sport though. Is it possible to legally get all channels? I presume there are add ons to illegally get all the channels then?

yes you can get all freeview chanels on it too plus films also

ATV requires plug ins to enable the viewing of many channels
Do your research and check the sticky for Xbmc navi x on iPad this will give you a good idea of how it works,as mentioned you need your ATV jailbroken,this is only possible on a 2nd gen ATV,or at least it was last time I checked

Hi just had a look at the post, you do not need apple tv which is a rip off for the 2nd generation, the 1st gen and 3rd gen cannot be cracked. All you need is a G box midnight, great specs. I purchased one 3 months ago from gboxmidnight.co.uk which is uk based i got the item next day with everything installed. I can watch 1000,s of films loads of live sport etc. For ?120 its a bargain. It is an android and i am pretty new to there setups but have soon found my way around it adding my own reposotories. I have just added ad sports signed up and am just awaiting the first live premiership games which are not until the 29th now so have to wait a bit. Overall it is the dogs bo***cks you do not need apple tv with this it is the same if not better.
