    selling a house

im in the process of selling house. never sold a house before but jeeso the bloody fees are outrageous!! will prob total nearly ?5000 and i didnt have to advertise it as i had a buyer.

the mortgage rates the bank charge are ridiculous considering the interest rate. you have to pay to get a product at the bank and bloody pay to get out of it

    aaarrrgggghhhh

at the end of the day better to buy your own place, pay for 25 years, then live rent free. people who rent must be stupid, nothing to show for what you payed. does ?5k include the selling and buying of new house? dont sound far off

What a lot of people don't know Lainie is that that you do not have to pay the estate agent through your solicitor, you can instruct the solicitor that you are going to pay the estate agent yourself, this will save you money as the solicitor is not involved, and in the past when I have sold properties I have contacted the estate agent and made them a lower offer, in this economical climate you will be surprised what reduction you can get and without any penalties....chuck
