Is Technomate a clone of Dreambox?

i know this one has been asked over and over again, but i need fact based information on how these boxes differ from each other. many users suggest that it is same box or at least same idea. some even say that some patches work with both boxes.
if this is true, are they same box? or just a good clone?. why should i buy dream-box not techno-mate?, what would i be loosing if i go for techno-mate instead of dream-box.

i want to be sure why i should buy any of the boxes. again what separates a clone with an original box. many people are quick to warn others from buying a clone, but they are not giving enough information on how to recognize a clone among original box

tm is not a dm clone. theyre sepearte boxes and never the twain shall meet.

tm however are all original and unless you want to spend about ?400 the dm you are going to end up buying will be a clone.

and you WILL end up buying a dm as not ONE person on here is going to advise you to go technomate over dreambox.

Latest TM models of linux boxes look like they could be a good buy Like the TM-Twin or single supported by various image teams like Vix and others fairly decent price compaired to original DM's.
The TM's a very crisp HD picture compaired to a lot of other brands
