i have no nand backup. priiloader not installed. got nothing. i just softmodded my friend wii and what i was wondering is can i use his nand backup to unbrick my wii?

What happens that you think its bricked, it does startup at all, somethings don't work properly?
Obviously it wasn't softmodded correctly in the first place if you don't have a NAND backup. No you can't use your friends NAND as they are supposed to be in dividual to Wii's.
I've only heard of bricked Wii's, there are video's on YouTube if you search.

That appears to restore to 4.1 only if BootMii is on boot2. If the DVD slot blinks twice on startup then its using boot2. It that works for you then do a system update to 4.3 then softmod it again with LetterBomb then install all the wads needed for USB Loaders. This time install PriiLoader 0.7 after you have installed the wads.Keith

You can always brick your Wii John then try it and report if it works or not.
As I said there are loads of video's on YouTube about bricked Wii's. One of them bricked a Wii with an app from Homebrew called SoftMii Tweak Toy then unbricked it, you can Google it if you want to try it.Keith

If you have no nand backup the only way I know of to recover a low level bricked wii is by using a nand reprogrammer and a very clever man to use it......There a re loads of videos of dancing and singing/talking dogs but I wouldn't try it....
