tray keeps opening

put game in any game and tray closes then opens i close it and it opens again it will do this any number of times then starts reading and game works any help thanks:

weird as sounds like its an hitachi in mode b.

Is it in its box or connected up?

Sorry, has it been modded before and flashed with ixtreme?

When the drive closes (and doesn't stay closed...) does it look like the front panel is fitting into the case properly? On most drives if they can't completely close they will automatically eject. Does the same thing happen when the drive is attached to the motherboard but isn't installed into the case? Didn't indicate if you were trying this with the box fully assembled or just cabled together.

Was it working before the first flash?

yes just started last few days need to hit top of box to open tray aswell

Sounds like the drives knacked. supposed to be a common fault with them
Your gonna have to spoof the drive m8

try with all casing removed to see if things are out of line !
