Firstly be sure your box is sim2.
You may need to flash the bootloader first if it isn't already ssl84b it wont do any harm to do it anyhow.
So flash the bootloader first and don't reboot the box, open another browser and flash the image then reboot the box and you should be good to go mate. Give it some time to boot first time also.

Without rebooting it sait: "Invalid or old Image"

Thats because you bootloader was older than ssl84b...if you already have up to date bootloader you can just flash the image.

Wow ! Very compleet... nice look. Managed to get PCTV 73e working. Was just looking how to change default language. (French) Did not found it yet. Also dm800hd clone becomes very hot. Looking for adding a fan via scart !

thanks i worked it out what i needed to do was on the box go to network i think it was and then enabled dhcp and after that it was ok also i must say this is the best image i have ever used! had it a couple of days now and it really is good well done and keep up the hard work

Hello is this image under post no. 7 above (new image today) suitable for my DM800HD clone with version : boot76, gemi 5.1, sim2.01, tuner alps M version please? Given that I will update the bootloader (somehow).
Can I backup in some way the current image (ie. the one which came supplied preinstalled in the box)?.. such that in case I have the dreaded no ca error would I be able to put the older one back on?
