    Arsene wenger

Well looking at it from Scotland, I cannot believe Arsene is still in his job. 7 years since a trophy and the team especially the defence is atrocious.
After all the great things he done in the past you can understand why it is so hard to part company but how long can this go on. The board have to make the tough decision and move him on surely??

To his credit i think he does very well.

He works at a club that is so unlike the riches of city and chelsea and is also well below us, probably liverpool and spurs in spending power

He has to sell players he wants to keep, they pay 5hit wages compared to other big teams so there best players seem to piss off every season

He then has to rely on an eye for a cheap diamond or pick out some talent on the cheap this can only work fo so long.

I think the board are the problem but they have a model they work too and stick to it, fair play to them but its not bringing trophies in which is what they want to see

Maybe when ffp kicks in they will be in a decent position but i think it will just get abused by city and chelsea

Arsene the second best manager in the league. Put him in charge of Man City and they would be unstoppable.

Arsenel have one of the best prospects in Wilshire he seems to have it all. Wenger only works within the constraints of the board. I think although he is one of the best managers to bring young talent forward he's no George Graham when it comes to picking a defensive line.

Wenger still believes you can build a title winning team on a shoestring budget. I think Wenger has principles and thats not to shell out ?20m + on a player. Unfortunately with the modern game you have to pay these hugh sums for quality players or start to slide and before you know it your out of the top four. Then its a real struggle to bring in quality as top player want CL football.

Did they not give walcott 100g a week that doesn't sound like crap wages. Arsenal have always been in Europe while others haven't so what have they done with all the buddo?

Its a first time they caved in tbh but when i say crap you know what i mean, city united chelsea would pay the 100 grand maybe more Arsenal didnt want to give more than 75grand a good amount but he feels worth more, riduculous yes but its the way it is and money talks for many

Maybe they have realised that its not the way, they may also have feared that if they lost walcott they maybe would struggle for CL football which is very important to club, i also have an inkling that he may have been joining van persie which would be very bitter for arsenal

I dont know where the money goes at arsenal tbh i know they could not spend much because of stadium but surely it must be paid now

They have had big money in transfers and their ticket prices are ridiculous, i think wenger has his hands tied tbh

they are best run club in country at the moment, but the 2 rarely go hand in hand. Do they start to spend big and pay bigger wages, they will have to now they bent for walcott others will expect the same to arrive at the emirates. Wilshire will be looking for similar or more in the near future too

At some point the top brass are going to have to do something as the top 4 may not be a shoe in anymore
