my box has suddenly not powering up. does it need reflashing or wot?? and can it be flashed with out it powering up?? new to these boxes any advise please...

your box will not flash without any power m8 as you need to switch off then switch back on to reset at start of download.

yes i just found that out
so i looked inside box & found c14 cap had blown... changed that, pluged in & now powering up. nothing comming on screen so i think ill reflash..
only problem is my m8 didnt leave the remote (the plonker) so will have to wait till he brings remote
do i need to access any secret menu to turn on emu? after scanning? (like starview) because its been a while since i did a eurovox.
