Eurovox Ex7000 HD

I've just found out about the eurovox cable boxes and have been told you can view all cable channels.
Just one thing Im not sure on is that I cant find out if they work straight out the box or if I have to flash the firmware with an alternative one?

Im especiall interested in the Ex7000 HD box.
Also would like to hear what people think of this box.

Any help would be appriciated.

It's illegal to sell a box that will descramble the channels, so you will have to update the firware yourself. Don't worry about this though cos it's easy. All you need is a usb pen drive and the firware available in the downloads section.

It's a good easy-to-use box and ideal for a beginner. However only buy it if you MUST have HD, because you can save a lot of $$$ if you go for one of the non-HD alternatives

you can pick up a ex1000sl for about $80 these days. Might not be the cheapest but they're easy to use
