Eurovox ex1000sl set-up lost and confused!

Hi everyone, Can anyone help me? purchased eurovox ex1000sl and cant get it to pick up anything, i keep seeing things about software downloads but cant actually find any, its the first time set up for this machine and i would appreciate a "set-up for dummies", if anyone can help, thanks.

it needs flashing with new firmware m8 read here first- Eurovox and ask any questions in that forum regarding eurovox, also check here- Digital Kaos - Downloads - Eurovox for firmware etc

thanks mate, tried flashing it, it takes the software but still not finding transponders, got the sym rates and tried 3 possibles, could it be the conversion pin from the threaded ariel to male rf pin?
