had to re-format and load my lappy as i had a virus or malware attack
before i re-loaded lappy if i did a speedtest i got 4.08 mbps
now with it reloaded i'm getting
ping 42ms
download 1.2mbps
up load .38 mbps
if i go into router it says
downstream 3904 Kps
up 448 kps
line att down 9.0 up 6
noise dwn 15.9 up 16
its a netgear 834gt
do these figures suggest that's it my line or something wrong with lappy setup
i'm as green as grass when it comes to this stuff,add to that i'm an old guy whose brain feels as it has slowed right down, i have to read instruction books twice before i do anything
