HELP NEWBIE --- new box needed and confused

Hi, I have had a SKYBOX F3 for a while and am really missing EPG RECORDING AND TWIN TUNER,,, I am looking to upgrade but am sooo confused I need a little help.

I think the VU SOLO2 is the muts nuts and the best box out there if my credit card can stretch to it, correct?

    VU SOLO2,
What are the differences between the VU SOLO2 and VU SOLO and VU DUO? (Think it is just speed and single tuner on VU SOLO)

    TECHNOMATE.
I have seen 2 x technomate pvrs that have caught my interest TM-2T and TM-TWIN-OE again I am confused as to what the differences are.

I want to run vix 3.0 as I have had this on a single tuner tester box and it is 110% best os I have ever seen on a box in my opinion.

I know this sounds like a few silly questions for a sunday morning but I cant get my head around it so any help is much appreciated.

    Cheers and happy easter

m8 for the money the tm 2t is a cracking box i also have a uno and a xtrend 9200 and the tm 2t is now my main box,i am running the 4d image which is open pli and its also the first box i have bought that i am still using the image it came with, there is also the vix 3 image and a few others to choose, but which ever box you go for i do not think you will be dissappointed all the boxes mentioned are all good boxes and will give many years of good service

The TM-2T OE and the TM-Twin OE are basically a Vu Duo in a different Skin same broadcom chipset and CPU and yes you can run Vix on the TM's, the 2T is around ?30 cheaper than the twin just because it loses the RF Modulator, LNB1 loop through and has slightly less Nandflash.

I have just got a TM-Twin but as yet have not had a chance to have a proper play with it yet, The TM-2T OE has had very favourable reviews so far and would be the obvious choice for a purchase.
