Vu+ Duo Fan Upgrade

I upgraded the fan in my vu+ duo to the fractal fan. This has been recommended on a few forums. I have fitted the fan and it is not working correctly. I thought it was completely goosed but when you give it a little touch it will start, but when the box goes into standby or you turn it off, when you reboot the fan still does not move, you have to give it a little tap with a screwdriver.

Ive made sure the fan it completely clear of psu, Ive tightened the screws tight, Ive also tried loosening them but no joy. Ive put the old fan back in and it works much better...but nosier..

If you unscrew the fan altogether does it still not spin up on it's own? Possible faulty fan?

Yea, will give it a try, if its faulty then Im screwed as refund is out of the question as Ive snipped the connector off and soldered the vu+ fan plug onto the fractal fan..
