    EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE WII-----RE FORMAT

    hello,
    Can anyone help me out,ive formatted a external hard drive for a wii(years ago).Now i need to use the hard drive(i want to use it as a external hard drive to back up films for tv).Ive tried to format it on the pc....but when i connect it to the tv,its still not recognised......can anyone point me in the right direction plz.

    Did you just right click and format the drive or did you use Disk management in windows. Try reformatting using Disk management if it's still not recognised use a third party software to reformat it.

            Before we start talking about formatting a drive we need to know how your system is setup. Post a sysCheck19 as instructed in that link so I can see which IOS's you've installed.

            There are three ways you can format a drive FAT32, NTFS or WBFS depending on how you add your games to it.
