Multi sat set up

Is there a guide anywhere on here? Because i either a: can't find one or b: cant be bothered to look too hard (pick one)

Im setting up a multi sat system tomorrow for 13, 19.2 and 28.2.
Any tips or as mentioned, guides?

it would be easier and cheaper to add a diseqc motor
to your set up and it will get you lots more sats
and you will only need one lnb

granted, BUT i tried that a couple of years ago.. had nothing but trouble..

I know gaston uses this setup so maybe drop him a pm. I got a installer to do mine on a motor so maybe a viable option?

I have one and helped another fellow member with ramjet a while ago, make sure the focal point is 19.2? east with 13? and 28.2? east as your offset's

so its a case of sticking lnb in centre of track and pointing towards 19.2e then messing about with the other lnbs to find 28.2 and 13?

587.jpg thats my bracket, so looking from the front of the dish should 19.2 go to the left or right of centre?

wont it be mirrored? so 28.2 will be high on the right looking from behind the dish with 13e lower to the left of 19.2?

looking at this pic from digicon i have to slant the arm upwards to the left (from front of dish) correct?

yes, thats how i had it, but i did get some one to do mine when i had that system.

and i have to set the dish to 25 degrees on the pivot at the back?
and on that pic, its not a triax bracket? as you know, you cant go dead centre on a triax because of the centre plastic.. so should i set 19.2 to the left or right of centre? does it even matter?

ye i understand what ur saying, think your better asking Digicon about alignment buddy. all i know is ya defo have 19.2 in the middle, not sure if it was dead centre or just off though. paid some1 else for the pleasure of that headache.

doesnt really matter although the holder can go either way on the rack, so its basically use 19e as near centre as possible and from the front of the dish the 28e lnb is higher and to the left of centre

the dish may be a different degree at the back on the pivot so you just adjust it until you peak the signal on 19e, and tilt the rack so the left is higher than the right and adjust the lnb left and right until you get 28e and try to peak it as best you can, same for hotbird on the right looking from the front of the dish
