Technomate T2-OE is pretty much the same as the TM-Twin minus a few little things like Loopthrough etc... apart from that they are identical and i believe the 2T has a little more Nandflash ram available for you plugins, Never owned an Amiko Alien and i doubt i ever will so cannot comment but i still would not buy one, i prefer something that has been around a lot longer thats all.

Cant remember as it's not a feature i use but i believe the 2T has internal loopthrough same as with the Duo, as for the alien i seriously advise against it. some retailers and their forums are touting it as the next big thing but it's really not and almost every one i know who has used or owned one has sold up and moved to a proper mips based e2 receiver or in a good few cases thrown the receiver in the bin then moved on.

I invite anyone to come over and see us for a free no obligation demonstration, see the Amiko Alien 2 running Spark and Enigma2 and how fantastic the picture quality is, see it also running DVB-T and T2 in the case of the triple and triple+ versions, if you don't like what you see still then that's fair enough, but don't let someone with commercial interests in mind and no knowledge or experience of the receiver tell you otherwise, come and see for yourself and make up your own minds.... We've got plenty of Broadcom based receivers as well and perfectly happy to get these setup and running along side for comparison, a real test then not just some drivel spouted by the 'ViX team' for commercial reasons.

I have no commercial interests what so ever in what box sells and what does not, i have however seen first hand your idea of customer service towards a user with a alien receiver on your own forum, so you may want to climd down from that high horse before you fall off and hurt your self.

I would suggest you take into account the real reason Amiko or Optibox products are not supported over on your forum, it's nothing to do with the quality of the product or support but totally down to commercial reasons, I will not go into details of this on an open forum as this is sure not the time or the place and would be unprofessional to do so, I have said and made the points I wish.

If you don't like or wish to support our products that's perfectly fine, all I ask is you quit with the rubbishing of products you don't support and stick to those you do, which you no doubt do very well, stick to it and continue to do what you do well and let us continue to do what we do well and I'm sure the satellite world will be a much better place for it.
