There are no so Called 'Clone' images for the VU series, the 2 most popular images are probably Vix & Blackhole

that would depend on what version clone you have if its a ferrari is it a V2 or V3 or maybe a cloned non ferrrari which seem to be able to handle any of the newer images available

No problem can you should then be able to flash any up to date image available at the moment for your duo, Basically download an image file normally Zipped up, Unzip the folder contents onto a USB stick switch the Duo off at the main on/off rocker switch put your USB stick in one of the available USB ports making sure you have no other usb devices attached and just switch the duo back on again and it will flash the image to the box.

aklo, I would strongly recommend the VTI image. If you have set up preferred bouquets of channels, make sure you save your settings using DreamboxEdit or one of the other progs. Also do you have a motorised dish, if so is it usals compliant or is it an actuator model with a V_Box? If it is non-usals, make sure you have a note of the sat position numbers so that you can easily re-enter them for the tuner setup.

If you use the front usb socket for the new image, there is no need to remove connections from the other usb sockets when changing the image.

              Good luck.

you should always remove all other USB connected devices when flashing a new image.

remember there should be nothing else on the stick, except the image.
ive never removed other usb devices, but i suppose it makes sense to do so.
