TM6800 Patch - USB Not Connected message

Hi All,

I believe that I need the latest software patch on my 6800HD Super to get back my French channels. I know that I need to put the file on a USB stick, insert it into the front USB slot and transfer the file, but I am getting the USB not connected message. I have tried another stick but the same.

Can anyone please help.

Hi, I had the same box ...few years ago, and had the same problem, (BTW, I'm also French..). A part needed to be changed, cant recall the name. Others has reported same problem on TMs box on other forums...."usb not recognize by tm box". In my opinion, as 6800 is not "supported" anymore doesn't worth the repair...PLEASE ADMINs, delete link if not allowed here,.................... sorry if against the rules, link above is only 1 example; I opened a thread long time ago on another forum on same subject. Depending on which part need exactly to be changed, expect nothing less than ?60 with postage to and from tm London(also better to send it unpatched, official tm software can be loaded with rs232 cable)
