Updating box from Skybox F3, best option?

Looking to upgrade my box. I've currently got an F3, which is a decent box, but I bought it purely to test out this card sharing business. Now I'd like to get something with better HD picture quality and I'd be willing to spend a bit (up to ?250) to do it. I've also generated my own favourites/channel list for the F3 that I'd like to copy to the new box along with my cline if possible. On top of that I'd like to have the option to record to HDD (internal or external, doesn't matter) and have a few days EPG available thats quick to update so as to allow me to record some shows if/when I'm away. Basically I want a sky+HD box that will accept my channel list and cline!

A (very) quick search threw up the Technomate TM-Twin-OE HD PVR (?279 from WOS), but I think it might be overkill for what I want. Is this box compatible with the channel list I've got for the F3? Are there alternative boxes for less that would give me what I want?

    Hi CunningCelt,

before you proceed any further please read the forum rules regarding the words i have underlined: http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...rules-2/#post2 : Discussions about cardsharing are not allowed, including, but not limited to, cccam, gbox, mbox, etc.

Now as regards your query firstly you can only transfer your channel list from your F3 to another compatible skybox receiver it wont go on anything else i'm afraid, Secondly the other thing you speak of which i will refer to as a 'Gift' can be transferred to any other receiver of your choosing no problem

was gonna suggest a dreambox clone , but they are a bit technical to setup, and seeing that you couldn't follow the simplest instruction (rules) I`m not sure you could pull it off mate
