a few questions about satellite Tv

Do you get all the sky channels?

Can you get the saturday 3pm kick off games?

What else can you get on them?

    How much and how easy?

    any help would be grateful.

    Cheers

No not all sky channels unless got a valid sub or cs

Yes you can get all the 3 pm kick offs with a combination of emu, cam or cs.

Can get 1000s of other channels again by using emu, cam or cs. Pretty much everything in Europe

Cost about ?200 - ?250 for full motorised 1m decent set up including a receiver

Not as easy as cable but not too bad if you do a bit of Reading up and it's well worth it. There's so much more you can do with a motorised sat set up

You said it all ryan..apart from, no cardsharing talk aloud here..
A very good starter receiver is the Technomate 5400 or 6800 if you want hd..
You will not get all the 3pm games unless you support arsenal, united, chelsea, or liverpool..

i have a 90CM motorised dish and i get pretty much every premiership game. I dont do CS , just emus and Cam. Once the dish is set up OK you will be amazed what you were missing all this time stuck with Sky.

I prefare dreambox. Start with 500S and progress

decide whether you are going to use just emu , a cam or cs first. Then if you are just going to use emu/patches get a technomate. If a cam then get somthing with a ci slot, if c/s then get a linux box like the dreambox.

or better still get somthing with all 3 so you can pick and choose.

The best receiver for a starter at the moment is the Technomate6800 super as they have 2card slots, one cam slot, and the ability to cardshare with ease and best of all it is a very user friendly receiver, ideal for a starter but the only downside is the price but then again its a hd receiver..
