    Blown IC on PS3 Mobo

    Hello,
I'm repairing a PS3 for a buddy of mine. It was overheating so he put some thermal compound on the chips underneath the fans on the mobo. It worked fine for a few seconds after that until he heard a pop and saw smoke. I took it apart and found a blown IC on the motherboard. It is an 8-pin surface mount IC that looks like an opamp. International Rectifier is the manufacturer, but I can't find this particular part on their website, or anywhere for that matter. I've attached a picture; the blown IC is in the top, middle of the picture. The part number is (International Rectifier) irP624h. Anyone have schematics or any data on this particular IC?
    Thanks
