    choosing a graphics card

    how do i find out which graphics card to buy for my computer, i have just bought one off ebay and fancy putting a good graphics card in it if possible.this is the listing title Fujitsu Esprimo E5730 Dual Core 2.4, 3GB , 150GB HD, Windows 7 64bit

    Its down to you and much you want 2 spend any pci g/card will do or check if you have agp is for gaming.................

      im after a 2gig card for mainly watching movies and streaming content off the internet (sopcast,acestream)With these cards can you use the vga out and dvi out at the same time so basically one to my(vga) projecter and one to the moniter (dvi )

        Dont know which motherboard your using,on mine i put in 1x1gb and bridged then you will have 2 check if yours is supported for this m8..............

            It depends on what you are looking for ...
            even 1 Go Memory is enough if you will only watch videos, but, we will not necessarily see any difference between your embedded card and the new one unless you watch HD Videos
            I Guess you already ordered a card so it may be too late, but I would advice a G520 funless which is more than enough for videos and support Full HD video and HD Audio streaming

                  I bought a low profile pci-e x16 ati 5450 1 gig graphics card but when I plug it in to the slot and I turn on the computer the fans just spin like mad and I get no signal to the screens, any idea what it could be

                    Did u plugin a 6 pin power cable to the card? or power the card?

                    Or

                    It sounds like its overheated at some point and killed itself

                      This card was brand new off flee bay,it had no power adapter in the box and I assumed that means plug and play,after a bit off reading I think I might need a 512mb card graphics card or It could be a broken pci-e slot or like you say overheated

                        Remember you may need a new PSU with 500+ watts if your installing a new GFX card with a 6 pin power.
