Openbox S10, BBC1 HD always glitchy

    Hi all,

Have the openbox S10, with latest AJ's channel list. Keep noticing for a while that BBC1 keeps being very glitchy. All other channels seem mainly unaffected.
This is a bit annoying as BBC1 is a FTA channel and should run seamlessly.

    Openbox s10 BBC1 hd glitching - YouTube

    Anyone know of any solutions?
    Many thanks!!

Unfortunately don't have the ability to change satelilte angle as live in rented accomodation.
Satellite info is : signal intensity 90% and signal quality 75%

I don't know if this will help you or not but someone who had similar problem found the culprit to be the cordless phone being near the satellite box.

Worth a shot... Mine is about 5metres away... is that far enough away?

Strange thing is, BBC2 HD is on the same transponder (10847 V) but you say that BBC2 HD is OK?

Or are you watching the Scotland or Wales versions of BBC1 HD (11024 H)?

Actually now you mention it, BBC2 HD is similar as well....
so what does this mean? Change the transponder?

There is only 1 transponder that carries BBC2 HD, but you could scan 11024 H & see what quality the Scotland & Wales versions of BBC1 HD are like. There will of course be slight variations in programming, but the majority of programmes will be the same.

I also have slight pixellation on BBC1/2 HD at times, as my quality varies wildly between around 10 to 40. The dish probably needs slight realignment, but it's nowhere near as bad as yours.

The Transponders never change on the satellite itself, you need to go into the menu satellite setup and scan the TP that Hadron has mentioned.
