      HD

Nop the one I put is brand new, you think that might be the problem funny though cause it shows it on ftp and all the folders that where created when formatted, but if you say so I'll try another one tomorrow I have a couple of HD to spare.
      Thank you

record failed due to an write error"

I get this message on my DM500S "record failed due to an write error..." and something about file corruption too. Seems the same error.(Note: In correct English it would be '...a writing error', and not '...an writing error')
I get this error alot while recording to the Solid State Disk of my netbook, and that disk has no moving parts.Just like memorysticks.

So I don't think the error has anything to do with any brand of HD.
Maybe something with writing buffers?? I don't know....
I m running the original image, haven't installed anything , but still I get these errors.
