Was a big thing about these type of tickets a while back ... end result was **** em they cant enforce them

All they can do is sound official and threaten you bla bla bla ... tell em you will see them in court

As a general rule of thumb if the ticket was issued by a Police officer or a Traffic warden and is covered by the Road Traffic Act, then it is enforceable and not worth the hassle, just pay it !
HOWEVER, if it was issued by some shit parking company who have no legal standing and are just out to fleece the motorist, then bin it, ignore all correspondence from them, it will get hairy but unless they take you to court, which is highly unlikely, they have no claim. They have to show 'loss' which unless they own the land they are unable to do. I have ignored 3 tickets in the past 12 months with no further action from the parking company involved. But you need nerves of steel, if not, then just pay the penalty at the reduced rate now and put it down to experience !

all those empty spaces and you still parked in a disabled spot anyway? I agree that you should ignore the company etc but you deserve a ticket.

thanks for all replys i will dour it out ,the empty spaces where all disabled places. the next bay was a parking bay which you had to make a detour to access plus it was pouring and i did not expect a rush of dissabled motorist.

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

parking spaces on private car parks dont come under the
councils traffic parking attendants jurisdiction. but most
supermarket and big diy store employ private mobile parking attendants who can clamp and issue tickets for illegal parking or they do where i live to stop people not shopping there or using the disabled bays from all day parking for free, they do by law have to display a notice
prominently of the companies parking terms.

Clamping on private land is illegal as of the end of last year, you can call the police if needed now and get it removed. They can even face criminal proceedings for clamping you. Councils can still do it though.
BBC News - Wheel-clamping on private land banned
As for tickets on private land, while it's legal they'll struggle to enforce it and in a lot of cases, never even follow up on the ticket. I got a ticket on private land years ago, they never contacted me or did anything about it. There's a bunch of websites you should easily be able to find through google who can offer more advice on this.

Ignorance is key they do threaten all sorts and bigger bills but its all hot air

as been said proper tickets by wardens council yes i would pay but private car parks are worthless

the reason is they cannot force you to name the driver or pay it yourself like a council ticket, unless they see you park up and picture you they have no power

Were I live there are more disable drivers, if you are not disable its pointless going shopping to B&Q on discount day Wednesday, most parking occupied by disable drivers, from what you have noted you are lucky to get disable parking in your town.
