Eurovox Max 2006 Non Clone Problem (LED)

When i flashed my Eurovox blue max 2006 with the appropriate 30/11/08 FIrmware the update was successful, i was able to load my channel data on normally, but i noticed a huge different with the box after the update. When the box is on standby the LCD reads 12:00 and the light is obviously red, however when i turn it on the LCD changes to "2324" and hey the Red light goes off and doesn't turn onto green? does this mean i've bust my box :| update and everything was succesful, since the green light isn't on is this why my tv cannot detect the eurovox through scart?

(Oh ignore the links to afterdawn, im just asking around a few palces with no joy).

I have tryed a reflash, my box was currently at 24/04/08 april firmware and i flashed it too 30/11/08, thats the current firmware for my box...And i have updated with a non clone firmware before and it worked succesfully and i did take a look inside and it matches the picture under Real Eurovox Blue. So it's definitly not a clone.

Here's a picture if it helps you to help me faster....

You might struggle to re-flash with it like that you might have to use the bad flash method and bring up the firmware with null connected but not the power as you hit the dwonload button and it starts searching for the box then plug the power in you might not need to do this but if you get stuck you know what to try. Sorry if you already knew this but quite a few people dont

Thats all you need to mate, its very common with the EV blue as said else where, get one of the cables pictured below and try that first.

Thank you everyone for your kind support!

Hiteck has already instructed me of what to do after i get the RF Cable, the last step is after tuning the tv to recognise the box, inserting the masterpin, and then doing a power scan, then try the scart lead. I would just like to know that do i have to do the power scan?, the thing is i already have an uploaded CDF File before i flashed the box.. will i be able to upload this onto the box? (without having that scart problem all over again)

Once you have the screen back on do a factory default/power-scan then you should be able to plug your scart lead back in.

Will definitly give it a go..

By the way hopefully after the factory default, will it resolve my StandBy LED Light Issue (Where by the Green light doesnt appear under standby when the box is in operation).

                            Important

Hiteck, An engineer came down to our house today, my feather got him to look at the box, he opened it first, and told my father that, during an upgrade/flash, one of the parts got fried, so it'll take a while for me to fix it. And he also said the person who upgraded it didn't do it properly. now for one thats b*llsh*t, because i've flashed many times before in the past and now it has just cr*ped out on me.

But thanks for the advice people.

Has anybody faced a similar situation?

and what is the most likely reason a part could've gone bust just by flashing?

Did you try it with the cable as I said?. I don't believe that flashing the box can cause hardware to fail. What did he reckon had blown?.
