What do I get? Key Updater DM500-s

OK, so I got DK1.1, and I got MGcamd and I found a key updater, which said it ran OK. Restarted everything. I then went to a couple of encrypted channels - but no good. My question is do the keys actually work for the majority of channels on satellite out there or do S*y etc generally encrypt their channels in better ways now, and does this mean the only way forward is CS?

Been reading alot of forums and everyone seems really helpful, thanks, so far!

soz m8 if you have a motorised dish the keys might clear some channels if it connected to a sky dish then am afriad youll get nowt but fta or ftv channels unless your friendly with someone on the know ,or unless you have a sky card of your own?

cs route it is then. I dont suppose there are any other ways?
