I have installed prolific USB to serial lead. Installed OK. When I try to flash DM500s the green progress bar moves to the very end. It identifies the DM500 uploads the flash loader but says something like " Waiting for the box to respond "...............but it never does. I can connect via a very old pc but this is nearly on its last legs so I need the lappy to do it. How come it goes so far but will not do the next bit?
Any help would be appreciated.
This is the 2nd attempt to get a USB serial to work. I tried last year but it stumped me.
Do any of the leads talk to a dreambox?
