Have I just been Ripped off by Dreambox500c.org.uk

Hi Guys,

I recently ordered a dm800 from dreambox500c.org.uk. Its was supposed to arrive in 5-7 days which if it was 7 would have been 2 days ago. I have trying to get in contact with them and have now sent 5 emails with no response at all. Has anyone else had any experience with this company? I am now concerned that my order is not what it seems.

Please someone tell me they're ok to deal with.

Although it looks like a UK webiste with the .co.uk bit they are infact PRC suppliers so it may be a little while longer for them to get it to you depending on which shipment method you chose, If you paid with your credit card you are fully covered anyway

I ordered dm 800 SE from dreambox500c website and still waiting but fortunately I paid by credit card so I can cancel transaction.

Anyone else ordered recently something from www.dreambox500c.org.uk and did not received it ????

if they have sent it via HK post which alot do when offering free postage then 6 to 8 weeks is not unusual and it could also be tied up at customs for a while also. if you still havent got your stb 2 weeks after the date they said and they are not replying to your e-mails then put a claim in and if it arrives in the meantime and is ok then you can cancel your dispute. seems to me they are just dropshipping so when you say pay ?160 for a stb they just take your money and then order from PRC for say ?120 and take their cut. a favourite trick with dropshippers is they wait untill they have say 20 buyers who paid ?160 then order in bulk for even less and take their cut. its basically theft as they usually dont have the stb,s in their possesion and are using customers goodwill and cash to make money without paying any cash out themselves. regards mdt

Just to inform all of you .


Box was ordered on 16th Feb and it came today (26th of Feb). So it took 10 days.

It is working very well , all cables and etc included in box.

I am very pleased .
