    Acekard 2i Error?

Hey all, My friend has a 3ds and has been using a Acekard 2i and was working just fine untill a feew days ago where she got an error as follows
"An error as occurred. press and hold the power button to turn the system off. Please refer to the operations manual for details."
Now i have done some research and read up on other posts from google that have add this issue but ive tried then and none work. Its been updated because it has an update file on it(she didnt know it had updated, possibly did it when was connected to wifi) And i have removed everything off the sd card and formatted then downloaded the newest verision from the website and with the newest update aswell. Yet the same error still happens. Now i dont know if im doing something wrong or if the actually acekard 2i card has died. If i can get any help that would be great. Its for a 3ds and im testing it on my 3ds xl, as i dont have her ds with me.

There was a forum i read on here that the person found a solution and linked the website but when i clicked it it didnt exisit. The post was from back in 2009 but yeah.

Please help as my friend wants to continue playing her ds without buying another card.

    Thankyou.

if the 3ds has been updated then it will block the acekard.

you will need a new card..

        yea that card will work.
personally i think the ace 3ds plus card is the best value card on the market atm..

but if you like the card you already have, then maybe worth sticking with that..
