DM500s service unavailable

Hi All

Having an issue with my DM500s. I have been playing around with a few images and finally settled on Commando 14.7, having reinstalled the image I cannot seem to get a signal. I set it to run the bouquet wizard and it says it cannot compete it. If I manually scan 28.2 it scans the transponders but does not locate any channels and the signal strength appears to be 0. I have connected my old quantum and I get around 80-90% signal.

Any Ideas please?, is my box bricked?.

Also I cannot seem to be able to select the options to lock etc when I manually scan.

i did hear that 14.7 had some issues with scanning, try the commando 14.6 ther is a backup copy on enigma chat somewhere and it downloads as "backup" it works realy well and has c**** 2.2.1 installed so just add your *****

There is no difference whatsoever between the Service Scan engine under the hood of C14.7 and the one in C14.6

However, there are those who feel that the Scan in Enigma is slightly more powerful than that in Neutrino- a subtle (and possibly subjective) difference...

The problem here is more likely to be to do with dish alignment, LNB, cabling, or F ends, or a mix of one or more of these factors. So don't be too quick to write-off the box, nor, indeed, C14.7!!!
