why do the press allways over react when it comes to rangers players missbehaving?why is the clown prince arthur borat boruc not hounded for his antics ? are rangers afraid to stand up for themselvs? celtic and thier players seem to get away with murder ,and other things involving minors.so what if ferguson is transfered we play better without him ,so party on celtic the seasons not over yet.and anotherthing it wasnt only ferguson and mcgreagor that were boozing.

I got a lot of respect for barry, never hard going back to an old club. He rangers through n through and wanted to playing his last years at his boy hood heroes.

But am sure was there not some kind of spat i with PLG, and then PLG leaving something to do with barry.

I for one say it take a big man to do what he did (W.Smith).

And barry and alan should have just got on with it, kept head down. At end of day Barry only wasted it for himself, even several forums buzzing says smith did right and will only make them better team without barry...

I think that people need to calm down! Because yes they paid a heavy price by being humilated and banned for good from the scotland squad. but to transfer list ferguson is just a way of smith getting him out. And what happenend to other players involved? ~~~~ all! very stupid Yes! Scapegoats ? NO

They deserve to be transfer listed for disgracing the club, you dont just represent your country on international level, you represent your club aswell.

Ferguson and McGregor are quite rightly embarrassed and should be fined too. I am very patriotic and to think those goons were most likely sitting on that bench, bealin at not playing, that they would have been willing iceland to win, just so they could say it was because theyre not on playing and that, to me, is completely inexcusable.

In the same breath, I wouldnt want Mick to be the new captain, he hasnt been playing well enough at parkhead and certainly wouldnt raise my spirits while playing in a big game, Gary Caldwell, to me, would be a good choice, or Alan Hutton. Both great players who talk to their team mates.

Ferguson grew up a couple of streets down from me and is, or at least was, a complete bigot. He was never really good at football as a kid, got by, but was always an arrogant trouble maker. I have nothing to say about McGregor...he can go play for Third Lanark for all I care...lap dog...

Please don't let this thread turn into Rangers V Celtic.

Its about Scotland and the behavior of 2 Rangers players, I have no love for barry ferguson and never rated him, Alan McGregor is a good keeper but disgraced his club and country but I fear he followed barrys lead, I could be wrong but I don't think so.

At saying that there were other players involved in the drinking club on Sunday who went unpunished, I personal dont think it was that bad because they were drinking on a Sunday before a Wednesday match but rules are rules and it should be the same for all.

I am not Scotish but I am a Rangers fan and they disgraced our club....get them out.
