WHAT TO BUY???

just after some advice on what cable receiver box to buy for my parents...

it would have to be very easy set up, (ie. no flashing) just out the box and plug in..

Whats the best one to buy, should i get an HD box, im not sure if there any good with there being very new, should i just stick to the original boxs, eurovox etc

i would get a kryptview or euro. only 1 hd channel at the mo so no real piont for hd. most boxes need flashing maybe some people sell preflashed you'll have to ask

The Eurovox & starview are very easy to set up and use. It also depends on how much you are willing to spend!
Whichever box you buy, it will need to be updated to the latest software and you will have to do this yourself. It is very easy to update the boxes and all the info you need is here.
As for the HD boxes, they are new and have limited support at the moment. They are also quite expensive and there is only a hand full of HD channels available for now.

When VM play their games the kryptview box is always first out with the fix. Out of SV and EVs I would say the latter....
