    Eurovox 5100 PVR t 5 message.

    Hi,

    I have just connected and powered up my new 5100 PVR but I don't get anything on screen and the box LED first displays ---- then the power light goes out and the LED display says: t 5
    Any ideas what may be wrong.
    Brand new box and I haven't done anything to it.

    Problem has now gone. I just disconnected everything and tried again. Now getting someting on screen and LED display is all 0000. Looking better than it did before.
    Anyone getting a t 5 message just do what I did.

      Box has now been sucessfully flashed and now channel scanning.

      I would suggest when you first power up brand new PVR do it without the hard drive installed first as that may have been the issue.

        glad you got it going mate but make sure you got the latest firmware for it by checking in the downloads section. you can see your current firmware in the system menus.

          Yes, I already have thanks johnboy.

          Also I noticed the t 5 is actually t S, the box displays when paused/timeshifting. The fix was to remove the harddrive then when fully setup and flashed, power down for a while then insert the harddrive.
