Help with Eurovox7000+HD Box

Hi guys

Got my box today.

Just some help needed to getting it flashed with the 120309 flash file. Here goes

1) The file i have downloaded, when urared, shows as flash_120309.tbn. Can i leave it with this name or do i need to change it to flash.tbn???

2) Do i need to setup up the box first, ie, tv settings etc.. prior to flashing the box. I have read, switch box on, insert usb key, then switch off again using the on/off switch. CAN I JUST TURN BOX ON, NOT MESS WITH SETTINGS, INSERT DRIVE, SWITCH OFF, THEN ON and fhlash the box. Please advise, as im really unsure if i need to setup first.

3) once flashed, i take it i just do a power scan like anyother eurovox

Hi m8 just do as you have said there is no need to rename the flash put it on your pen into the box switch off/on with the switch at the back of the box the box will reboot find the flash and install it then do a deep installation with the symbol rate for your area

how long does a deep scan take???

full power scan, can take up to 20 mins, will a deep scan take longer??

also heard, if a deep scan is done, it duplicates the channels. How would o go about deleting this. is it doen all via the channels menu??

sorry for the 100 questions, just want to ensure i do everything correct as poss

do a factory reset first this will delet all channels then do a deep scan i cant remember how long it takes you can do a power scan first if you dont get all the channels then go back do a factory reset then a deep scan ,as for all the questions thats what we are hear for.good luck

great box got one a while back i needed to rename the flash without the date and just swicth it off and on it found the stick and loaded up the flash update,then a deep scan to find all the channels and hey presto!!!!
