eurovox ex1000 sl

hi,i just bought a eurovox ex1000 sl and im having a problem with it.i put the firmware on scan it and all the channels show as its being scanned but when it comes to updating itself it doesnt but i can recieve the picture if i put the codes in manually but if its left on then i loose the picture and it just goes back to saying updating
can anyone help more or have any idea what the problem is i definately dont think its a clone as its accepting original firmware.

hi 1st of all which image are you using? after flashing the image did u do a factory reset then re-scan etc

and are u in the uk? as ex 1000sl are not working on nagra 2 in irl

I thought there was a fix released for Ireland for the ex 1000sl

should be on by default,,if not press menu/language/pressok/enter1968,you will then see it at bottomof list,enable it,let it update on sly sport 1
