Please help,channels not opening.

I have set up a new Dreambox 500s for a friend, I flashed Nabilosat Darkstar 11 image and downloaded CCcam 2.1.1.
I them set up satellites 28.2e, 13e, 19.2e and 1w. added a couple of lines to test and everything opened up great, worked perfectly.

I then took the box to his place and connected it to his 1m motorised dish, tuned in to an old 14'' TV that he just uses to test. I then picked up 28.2 locked in and had 90/90 service
I then went to bouquet/services and nothing would open, not even FTA channels.

I took the box back to my house and everything opened fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

I notice you are using CCcam 2.1.1 which means you are probably cardsharing. If you have the dreambox set up with a dyndns address for yourself at your house than this won't work at your friends house unless you update the dyndns address on your dreambox at your friend's house.

then you have locked on a satellite which is not 28.2e. Im having the same problem with 4.8e. Very good signal but no TV picture on any channel

You posted this eleswhere on the net and got exactly the same help. Its a shame you didnt up the rescan when told to on another site.

For your information I posted on both sites at the same time in case I did not get much response, are you suggesting this is wrong?

I am not able to go back to my mates house until today so I have not done the rescan yet.

Some people just love having a dig for the sake of it.

you can only watch the free channels on sky 28.2e on a dreambox
unless you have a full subsciption sky card
or look into card sharing which you will have to find yourself by googling it
as card sharing is not allowed on this site sorry m8
