I have adreambox 500s which has been killed by gemini. I know this can be fixed by jtagging but I don,t know how to make up the cable or what components to use. can anyone help me.

these are the connections of as you must have made the jtag


Parallel ---- > playpen

db25. . decoder
2--> 100 ohmses--> 11 (Halt)
3--> 100 ohmses--> 9 (Tms )
4--> 100 ohmses--> 7 (Tck )
5--> 100 ohmses--> 3 (Tdi )
11--> 100 ohmses--> 1 (Tdo )
25 --------------- 16 (Ground)

To see the infos of the playpen is enough to do in this way:
Jtagdm500 - m dm500 - the

To program the bootloader is enough to do in this way:
Jtagdm500 - m dm500 (the bootloader is already integrated in the software)


to program bootloader and mac address this way:
Jtagdm500 - m dm500 - and 00:09:34:11:22:33 (to your pleasure or as brought on the box of the decoder)

As it regards the mac address the main point it is that the mac invented address also starts then always for 00:09:34 the rest of imagination.

-m model: select model (dm500)
-and xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx change dm500 MAC Address [00:09:34:AA:0B:CC]
-d [alps (defalut) | philips | terr] change dm500 tuner type (caution!)
-the Printses Configuration Area and exits
-t #: time out. # is number. default is 1
-X: Delete the whole flash
-c: check flash after program
-h: show this help put


model would be the model dm500
-and followed by the mac address
-d for the type of tuner
-the ago the init of the board and press the config.. then it goes out
-t for the timeout
-X cancels the whole flash
-c performs a verification of the flash after having programmed her/it
-h visualizes all the available options
