help with pairing sky white card to dm500

Looking for help plzzz

My BLUE sky card expired yesterday (had the white card two months or so and the blue still worked till now) ah well....

i changed the image to pli jade as the newcs1.66 and CCcam 2.12 were available on the server.

Installed these as default cardserver and default softcam Got the serial no via sky box and converted it with the boxkey converter. using DCC ftp'd the newcs xml file to pc and put in the boxkey... ftp'd back to dreambox. ftp'd CCcam cfg to pc and added this line N: 192.168.1.xx 10000 newcs newcs 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 1 4 ftp'd back to dreambox

i rebooted breambox and restarted softcam and cardserver inserted the sky white card but did not clear my package only ftv.... only difference is the audio was distorted on all available channels

Have i done something wrong?

use the search facility on this forum mate, there is a dedicated thread on this from a few months back

I have used the search facility to find threads relating to my problem. they have been a great help but the knowledge to solve this problem does not seem to be available. as stated before its easy only if you know how.... i am a dreambox cable user and up to recently i did not have to research sat dreambox issues untill the dreaded N3 encryption that is..... i have two sky cards paid up and all i want to do is transfer them between stb locations.

your blue card should still work m8 thats as long as you did not put it back in the sky receiver i know people that have white cards and are still using there blue cards as long as you have your box hooked up to a dish your card should take updates leave it on chan 4 or some thing like that over night and im sure it should update also i think nabilo addons has newcs and cccam ready togo when you download it only thing i would do is change the user name password and port its on
