    Dreambox 500S Not Booting

    I am using Darkstar II.

    I have carried out a factory reset and and rescanned. Everything seemed OK after the scan. I switched off the dreambox and disconnected the power supply. When I reconnected the power supply the dreambox will not boot.

    I just see the Darkstar II Logo

    Any solutions or have I cooked my DM500S

      probally needs a fresh install of the image
      dm800-s=1.1 m triax motorised dish=titanium twin lnb

          darkstar has been having this problem of late, failing to boot. If you check few threads from past 2 weeks you will see some people having same issues.

          You need to re-flash the box. I had to ditch nabillo image and go for pli jade 3.

              yep ,reflash using dreamup and a null modem cable image to use either DK image or pli jade.
              Setup: 2x Dreambox 800HD | 3x Dm500S on Motorised dish Setup

                  I had frozen screen,so installed evollution image,has all pluins needed in download section to get it working.
