    Diseqc 1.2

Ok guys, given the fact that the receiver / dish that I have been using (Technomate 1500ci) was set up with the USALS utility and that I can drive the dish to a satellite of my choice prior to removing this receiver and replacing it with the DM500, which would be the best way of going about setting up the satellite and motor using Diseqc 1.2
Also, do I have to add all the satellites I want to locate into the list manually ?.
I've only ever used USALS to set up previous installs and found it to be so easy and straight forward, however I guess, from the stuff I have read so far, that the setting up of the motor / satellites when using the DM500 is going to be far more involved, so any advice / hints / tips, etc, would be much appreciated,

    Regards,
    The Soulman.

''go to'' function on dm500 doesnt work. you have to drive the motor manually and store the sats one-by-one

Sorry but 'go to xx' definitely works on a dm500 as that was the only way I could move my motor on the dm500.

it drive the motor but it will never lock on any satellite. i have found that the dish will be left just near the satellite, to lock onto it, you have to manually drive the motor via the box remote.

its not a question of set up mis-alignment as i get over 90% signal on all satellites, and still the 500s will not just lock on a satellite by just telling it to go to ''xx''

unless if my 500s has a fault
