add hard drive

kk m8's trying to add hd to sisters puter when booting , do i just press f2 to go to sys menu and add it as slave . thanks in advance

all depends if its a SATA or IDE sounds like its a IDE HD

im sure if you hit f2 when powering box up you should enter

BIOS some new MOBOS auto detect HD,s

Master = Primary

Slave or Cable Select

if its a second hd you are adding ive allways used the Cable

Select Jumper on the HD Itself
