... and i tryed all jtag software etc. no success

you mean 4.31 firmware !!??

its not original,search the dreambox mac adress.. its a clone

must be 4.31 the firmware.

Gemini_420_DM500_17122007.img works flawlessly on clone

hi my clone dm 500s is runnunig on the above mentioned and works
flawleslly. I am not telling you to try it but just to let you know...
My friend suggest Nabilo for clones...
What do you suggest?

nabilo is a far better image creator than gemeni and 0.8maxvar for the 500s is possibly the best image out for the 500 with a great addon server too

i have to say this is the best one i've had so far although bot s** uk and italia do have some drop out at times. is there any image where this does not happen

I am using Gemini Image 4.4 Beta may be it will kill my dm500s also. It is Made in China and Mac address is ok I checked hologram etc. Please advise me, should I change the Gemini immediately. I am updating it from their site through dm. Need ur advise please otherwise may be i lose my box

I am also newbie on this forum (digital-koas) krazylegz is expert follow his guideline. He guided me how to us FTP etc. Now he is recommending Nabilo Image. There is a Diagram of JTAJ if you follow may be you will be able to get your box back. but first of all Enlarge the Diagram then follow the instruction. Be careful do'nt hurry.
