can someone help me and tell me what i am doing wrong, when i go to uninstall a program i keep on getting this msg,

the system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation.

    then

you do not have sufficient access to uninstall this program. Please contact your system administrator.

If your account is an admin account and you are on a local computer only and you get this message without setting up such policies then i also recommend you to do a virus/malware/trojan scan as well.

go into control panel/user accounts if only one user it should be administrator if not click on change your account type, in the next box it will give you two types of accounts standard acc or administrator, if its standard change to administrator this will allow you to uninstall progs.

            go to

            start - run

            gpedit.msc

User Configuration\Adminstrative Templates\ Control Panel\Add/Remove Add or Remove Programs.

Double click on it set it to Not Configured or Disabled.
