well my box has finally given up. so its time to get a new one. im thinking of getting a elite this time. ive seen a few on flea-bay with no power brick, are they different to the older boxes as mine was one of the first ones out

Apart from being black and having a bigger hard drive, there is no difference. The first Elites which were released did not even have the new falcon chipset so these would work with your power brick for sure (203W).
