you could have a signal problem too high/low (check what strength it is)
first thing to try is test with another scart lead (make sure its inserted fully)

        same signal strength here

I'm getting 82% signal strength here and get perfect quality picture. If you're 100% sure all the connections are correct, might be worth trying a reflash?

Does it occur for every channel or are some more affected than others?

            82% is around the norm
you could try a factory default reset and rescan and if that doesn't cure it reflash (with a freshly downloaded firmware)
and if that doesn't work your signal could be borderline and a 0 - 20 db variable attenuator might be the answer

Hi, just got an ex1100, it's flashing mainly on sports channels when players are on the pitch. All the other channels it hardly happens. On the sports channels it's fine most of the time but constantly flicks to b&w when stuffs happening. I've changed the scart, signal is 82%, re flashed it from USB, re scanned, done a factory reset and is still happening. Any ideas? Only thing I haven't done is re download the flash to USB. I'll try it tomorow, but some suggestions would be welcome as I have little faith it will work.

I have seen a couple of posts about this on forums, apparently it only happens on some channels some of the time, then only on some TV sets. The people that have had the problem have tried the boxes on different TV's and they have been OK.

I would try in preferences/TV system turn Display mode from AUTO to PAL and Turn Video Output to RGB, then save & exit. Maybe try a different or higher quality scart if you have one.
