What Eurovox 5100 PVR Hard Drive

Throught the help of this forum I've got a working Eurovox 5100 PVR.

I know people have been having issues with hard drives so I thought I would ask and see what everyone has got.

I've got a Western Digital 120GB in mine and have seen issues when in standby it doesn't see the drive properly and takes a while to come to life.
If I power off and on it comes up very quickly and the drive is fine.

What drive does everyone else have ?
Where did you get yours from ?

will b getting a ex5100 this week and not sure what hard drive 2 get any info wud b great ty

Well the disk I have in mine is a Western Digital Scorpio Blue 120Gb drive. Model No WD1200BEVE.

I'm seeing issues when the box comes out of standby that it doesn't see the disk. I always have to power it off and on again.

i have been there tried everything

it is defo a firmware problem coming out of standby the box works ace without the drive

i have to do mine every time it records and i havent watched it at midnight it goes to standby

i have tried everything and writen about it on here just search 5100 standby it should find it
