Sky Sports 1 Keeps Jumping Even After Manual Update!

Hello guys just wondering if anyone can help, my sky sports 1 channel was jumping. I decided to update the frequency manually and still it is jumping and pixelating.

Any ideas how i can stop this from happening. Thanks Lee.

    Buy an attenuator..

These can be found on ebay.

Get one that ranges from 0 - 20 db. This will stop the pixelating and freezing issues.

All boxes have this problem depending on areas and signal strength.

Maybe they have changed or tweaked the signals.
        Keep scanning for the channel.

Although there is word going about if you read the forum that channels are going missing from you area.

Providing that is you are a leeds fan within your good city.

            Get an attenuator..

Signal varies and depending on output your signal may have dropped or got stronger in your area.

This fixed my problem no end and many others accross the UK.

Sports 1 has been an issue for many people.

The reason being the signal strength is too strong believe it or not.

So this is the first step i would take to solve the problem.

You asked for help and when someone offers some, you dont ike the idea your signal is a bit too high actually, around 79/80 would be better and an attenuator would fix this problem ...plus incidentally signal levels can and do change at any time .....

me too, first had a problem with sky sports 3, now sky sports 1 is jumping with me too, been trying to re-scan all week, but nothing new appears.
hope it gets better soon, because it is unwatchable, very annoying.

i think i will do a factory reset tonight, then a rescan,
it seems to have worked for other people on other boxes.

Dundeebat dont bother doing a factory reset i have tryed that and still jumping on alot of channels including the sky sports 1 and 3.

Think there could be a problem in the dundee area but not too sure but i think it is a particular frequency problem as only channels on frequency 491.000 are the ones that are jumping non stop...

dundeebat to improve the signal quite alot and stop the jumping more often first find the frequency of those channels which they are 491.00 in dundee just press info twice to get this, then go into user installation in the menu and scroll down to that frequency and then press yellow for channel edit, then green for modify then alter the frequency here and there i changed mines to 490.125 and seems to be alot better. try that it should help a little...
