How can I get my sky uk card to work on DM500s??

If you try the new darkstar image there is the facilty to put your card details in

changing image isnt really an option.

i think I will lose all my motor settings etc.

I have no idea how to fix anything if it goes wrong

You can do a back up of your settings with DREAMEDIT and back up any of your files with a simple ftp tool
If you need more have a play around with flashwizard wih this tool you got the option to do a complete back up of your current image.
I dunno what image you are using at moment but take firestorm advice

Is there a way in the new image to stop the motor going any further west than 10 degrees?

Thats when it gets too close to my roof.

Err..not sure. What is the option?

try putting Cccam plugins on your box make sure its reading the card then leave it on sky 3 till it clears.Has the card been ativated?

Yes card has been activated , been using in sky+ box for years and then sky hd box.

How do I put cccam plugins in?

press the yellow button twice then download pluggings ps you have to have the box connected to the internet

I am connected to the internet. Cant do a key update either. Could do earlier.

i would check for you but i am at work,but if its worked before and you have not changed anthing you must be down,just check the ethernet plug is in and you can see a green light inside the box flickering also to check its not your box put the ip address of your dreambox into the address bar of your pc the password and login are root and dreambox

ok, rebooted and now it connects to downloads.
What plugin am I looking for?
