Running ITunes on windows Vista without slowing down laptop

Hi guys,

does anyone have any ideas on how to run ITunes on my laptop without using all available memory with my library,ie using the e drive or an external h drive???

I just use a combination of Foobar2k with the foo_dop.dll plugin to totaly avoid itunes.

Ive got all the same functionality at a footprint of 32mb instead of the sizable chunk that itunes consumes.

My setup doesnt look spectacular, but its fully customisable if you feel the need to devote time to it, i usualy just let it play away in the background and control it via hotkeys though so i never really need to look at it.


Meh, it does what i need it to do and doesnt slow me down, win win if you ask me.
